About Nancie

     As a Bay Area native, I know why people want to live, work and play here.  There is so much to see and experience you could live in the Bay Area a lifetime and never see it all. Going hiking, wine tasting or hanging out at the beach are just of few of the activities this area has to offer. I grew up in Fremont, was married here and still live here today.  If you ask me what there is to love about the Bay Area – my answer would be simple – everything! There really is something here for everyone!

I love what I do
      After becoming a REALTOR® in 2003, I quickly realized what a passion I had for helping people buy and sell their homes. In 2014 I got my Brokers license and opened up my own office. I understand buying or selling a home is no small matter.  Besides being the largest financial transaction you may ever undertake, it is probably also the most complex. Whether you are a Buyer or a Seller you have unique needs and goals. Being detail oriented, a good listener and communicator, helps me to provide my clients with the most stress free and positive experience in their buying and selling experience.

Why I am different
     One of the reasons is I will not act as a dual agent.  What is that you may ask?  A dual agent takes on the role as the Sellers Agent and the Buyers Agent in a transaction. This means they will work with the party selling the home and the party purchasing the home at the same time.
The question becomes, how can a REALTOR® effectively represent the Buyer and the Seller and get the best deal for both of them? I believe the answer is, you can’t.  My fiduciary duty is to either work with the Seller to bring them the highest and best offer or work with the Buyer to purchase the property at the lowest price with the best terms.
If an agent owes a duty of loyalty to two parties who have opposite, and competing interests, how do they advance the interests of both parties?
My clients know I will be representing only their best interests and will use my industry experience and insights to educate, communicate and negotiate to ensure everything goes as smooth as possible.
     I also believe we should never stop learning. You will see lots of letters after my name.  Those are designations I have earned by taking additional classes to make sure I am always up to date on the latest technology, marketing and industry trends to help best serve my clients! Other activities
     I have also been involved at my local REALTOR® Association for many years. I serve on the Professional Standards committee and teach Ethics to new REALTORS®. I have also served in various leadership roles and was the 2019 Association President.
     I have been on the Board of Directors for the California Association of REALTORS® since 2014.  Not only does this help me give back to my industry, it also keeps me up to date on what is happening in real estate, specifically in my area, but also throughout California in general.
     I feel it is also important to serve the area in which we live. I belong to the Newark Rotary Club which is a group of dedicated volunteers who love serving the community as well as the region, through fundraisers, community work groups and helping local schools provide a better learning environment.
    In my free time, I love to read, watch basketball and listen to my husband play in a band at a local pizza parlor!
